The burning offering in the dark of the night was strangely strong and yet, as I called for the spirit-teacher, I felt both deeply connected, and totally disconnected from myself and from the energies of the fire. Many dreams came in the night – instruction-dreams, and though I remember no details upon waking, many insights come forward, first as whispers and then later as firm “knowings.”
The messages of the Mother are textured and layered, with still so much to deeply, fully integrate. The mind understands these lessons, the deeper heart feels and knows them... There is a lifetime of familiarity with these teachings, and yet… There is a part of me who has struggled with this for so long – she who is young and defended – she is the one who is truly in-need of embodying these teachings.
The feeling of the wind flowing through my heart, and the words and felt sense of freely giving it all away have struck something deep within me. I realise all of my actions must be choices of freedom. Whispers becoming knowings… My motivation in any and all circumstances must be clear to me – not just superficially clear. Clear to my very depths. Clear as a felt-sense, as the fabric of my being that is woven and constructed as my "reality," not just merely as a thought or even as a realisation.
My mind suddenly flashes back to dreamtime, and a flurry of words from the Mother floods my inner ears. “Energetic clearing comes from being in total and complete alignment, and where alignment has not arisen, at least in presence to what it as it is.
Stand in your centre. Create life as acts of loving freedom.
If you get caught in events or circumstances feeling less-than, or more-than any Other, obliged, fearful, greedy, indulgent, self-pitying, or in any other way grasping or holding onto energy (or a story), then that is your work to do with yourself.
Shift your centre.
Be present.
The acts of impeccability are the acts of presence and integrity-with and alignment-to one's deepest truth. It's not that you can't savour the moment. In fact, dive into it deeply. And let it go as it arises, simultaneously. KNOW this through every fibre of your being.
No grasping for the next moment or encounter.
The meaning you give to any encounter or event is just that – the meaning you choose to give it. Even this you must recognise as something fluid, that can be reshaped or dissolved, and continuously let-go.
Embody this fully. The felt-sense of understanding something in your mind and heart is still only the surface. Even immersing yourself or soaking in the teachings is still only superficial. This is not the knowing you are being asked to do.
You must rework the very fabric of your existence, so that the essence of your being, the matrix of what you call "me" is reshaped. Deep earth medicine work is not something superficial. It is total and complete. It arises from the fabric of all of life, and it is to this fabric you must give yourself away.
This is the deeper medicine.
Your acts in this world must be total and complete expressions of the deeper medicine. You are not imposing deeper medicine from the outside. You ARE it.”
